This would be brain burp territory if it didn't take the better part of 24 hours to get a straight answer out of this person...
One of our clients asks the auditor to check the dates of any installed water filters to ensure that they are up to date.
The answer on a recent survey for this client was, "The store just reopened on date xyz."
I emailed the auditor to ask if they had visually confirmed the date of installation or if they were just assuming that the filters were installed on xyz.
I had to ask them 6 times before I got a straight answer.
Turns out there were no water filters installed at all yet...
