Awesome moms (and kids) at bus stop
So yesterday I'm headed to work. I was doing the PM shift, so this was about 2:30 in the afternoon on a hot and sticky September day. At the bus stop are two adult ladies accompanied by a crowd of seven kids, all of whom appear to be under 10 years of age. I grit my teeth, thinking this ride is going to suck (heat makes ME cranky, I can't imagine what it does to little bodies), but then something unusual happened.
The two moms (I think they were sisters) were playing a nice quiet game of I Spy with the kids to keep them occupied, and when we got on the bus, all the kids found their seats and sat quietly, which they were still doing when I got to my stop.
There are still good parents out there!
