I would love to hear the stories behind some of those comments if it's possible (and if it's your own).
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

My step-mother used to be a nurse, and quite often would see in the notes "Fith". Nice acronym for fucked in the head.

That means the customer has really bad body odor. I've driven past the paper plant in Canton, NC. It smells really bad.

Is it possible they just work at one, and are coming there straight after work?

My college was not far from several paper mills. If the wind was blowing the wrong way you couldn't stand to be outside.

A paper mill smells like a porta potty burning inside a truck stop urinal.

However, they smell like perfume compared to a Sugar Mill...

True.....I remember when we lived in northern Arizona, and would visit friends in a nearby town, we had to drive past an area known as "Dry Lake". (I think it was run-off from the nearby paper mill, and I remember it smelled like a cross between skunks and poopy diapers.)

I grew up near Tacoma, which has a long standing rep for smelling bad... To be honest I never noticed. But in that '88 article it blames the Aroma of Tacoma on a combo of low tide, pulp mills, paper mills, and smoke stacks. I think it's improved now.

Anyway, saw the person who didn't want meds from India, I'm wondering why that's sucky? I mean, if I had a choice I'd prefer a place with regulatory agencies I somewhat trust. Or are all of them made there? I'm actually curious, all these posts from pharmacists and techs are really interesting. I have had three prescriptions in my life. So far.
