        Aw, fuck!

He was one of my favorites. I always wanted to see him, and never got the chance.

        This sucks.

I heard that they reported his death a few days ago and his publicist released a statement saying that it wasn't true.

            Then today... this.

It's very sad. The man had an incredible voice.

            Rest in peace, RJD.

Played Rainbow - Long Live Rock 'n' Roll in his honour last night, gone to join my husband in the great gig in the sky.

Baltimore Rock Station is in the middle of a Ronnie James Dio tribute at noon. Holy Diver on right now.

I hope they play Heaven and Hell...

                    Ronnie James Dio dead

I'm really upset; I actually got the news yesterday, but couldn't bear to make the topic.

Btw; please don't post gormless stuff like "Who's he?"; just click the link and read. Not saying anyone here's that tasteless; just what I've encountered on other forums.

Went out to karaoke our the last few nights, and made sure to do some of his songs. I did Heaven and Hell, Holy Diver, and I might have done The Last in Line. I always said something like, "This is for one of the greats that we lost last weekend. Rest in peace, Ronnie James, you will be missed."

Quite a few people came up to me afterwards, because they didn't even know he had died.
