  • I have a new niece!

My sister gave birth to her 5th child today. After 4 boys, she finally had the girl she's always longed for. I can't wait to meet her!

Here she is, being held by a beaming Nana (my mom).

After all the name debating I am soooo glad my sister didn't go with Treasure (her original choice) or Absinthe (my sister's boy friend's suggestion, he meant Asenath, the Egyptian wife of Joseph in the old testement, but he's an idiot and got it mixed up with Toulouse Lautrec's favorite Liquor, and the name he meant isn't much better, really, no one would know how to pronounce it or spell it). In the end, they named her Elizabeth Rose.

                She's beautiful.
                And what a pretty name.

                  Awww, she's a cutie!

As someone who has gone through life with a "difficult" name (really not that hard, people!), I'm glad they went with Elizabeth

I love the name Elizabeth. I might be biased, though.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.
