Need kitty help - being kept from eating

    Teehee! MoonCat, that's one of the things we're figuring on - that Smoky, attention whore that he is, will get to like being held and watered so much that he'll require it. But, things could be worse than having to do that, so it's a small sacrifice to make for a while if he'll keep tolerating the eyedropper. He does like the Pedialyte!

    Dreamstalker, it's pretty recent. Maybe a week or so at best guess because my daughter hadn't noticed it. I saw it this weekend when I got down to floor level to watch him eat because I was a little suspicious. He let me look over his teeth and gums, they seem fine and not sensitive, the color's good all around, capillary fill is good now that he's been taking liquids, no signs of broken or decayed teeth.

    I told her to put some small floaty thing (maybe a ball that's not small enough to go in his mouth) on the water in case he's having trouble seeing where the surface of the water is. It's worth a shot.
