      And getting arrested for trespassing. Yep, that jeep will probably be getting sold to pay off some of the court costs and getting the lien taken off of the vehicle.

      It was a swamp, not a mud pit. The guy was damaging a lovely swamp. (one of the times I root for the gators.)

        there was an update talking about how another company pointed out the indusrty standards where much lower than what the tow company is charging

          Yea, they might be right that it was really high. At the same time, every company can set their own prices on these sort of things. (unless there is a law I am not aware of)

          I can understand the high cost, especially for a high risk tow. It will probably go to court to be decided.

            $48,000? It would have probably been cheaper to hire a helicopter to lift it out.
            Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.
