  • Mariano Rivera's Retirement Has Metallica Looking

As many of you know already, Mariano Rivera, the closing pitcher for the New York Yankees, announced his retirement at the end of this baseball season. He uses Metallica's song, "Enter Sandman," as his entrance music.

ESPN's new commercial has them looking for "One" athlete or sports personality since Rivera's career will "Fade to Black." I know it's "Sad but True," but Metallica will be forced to "Turn the Page." Mariano Rivera may retire, but "The Memory Remains."
This site proves Corey Taylor right. Man really is a "four letter word."

I'm now using my Deviant Art page to post my humor.

Oh no, this may be the start of the Metallica puns, and I certainly don't want to add "Fuel" to the fire. If it does come to that, I just want you all to know that I'm "Better Than You". I will "Seek And Destroy" every one of you and leave a "Blackened" path in my wake and "Kill 'em All".
You're all welcome to seek out "Sanctuary" if you're afraid.

Ok, now I'm just gonna go back to "Wherever I May Roam".
