    Thanks for the info Plaidman- I wasn't aware of the historical uses of adamantine, I was thinking X-Men. .
    Ahh. That's adamantium, which isn't real as far as I'm aware, where as admantine is a real metal. But I can see where you wouldn't like it if you saw it that way.

      Darn I thought it was WoW fiction at first with a title like that.

      Then I was like "oh no bad WoW fiction?!"

      And now I'm glad that has nothing to do with WoW.

      Sorry long day.

          That sentence is just plain awful. It's not clear what the author is trying to say. Does he mean, "to judge by the pallor of her face, she was invigorated" - in which case he doesn't know the meaning of either pallor or invigorated;

          Or does he mean that the pallor of her face is what makes her look invigorated? Again, nonsense - pallor means pale, palid, colorless, and invigorated means refreshed, filled with energy - not something you usually associate with pale skin, especially the face. Even a vampire's face is not going to look particular energized.

          I wonder what the rest of the book is like?

            Maybe she was an albino that had a nightmare she gained skin tone?

              I think the woman in question was some kind of warrior chick. People just keep coming out of the woodwork to try and kill this guy for no apparent reason.

              Also, I will not take responsibility for what may happen to you if you choose to read this book, or for what may happen to your other books as a result of putting it on your shelf.

                  I'm tempted to check out that book for curiousity's sake, but it seems that we don't have it in my library system.
