So a while ago I posted at Fratching an update that my ex bf was caught bail jumping (or, technically, breaking his signature bond. Usually, bail jumping means that you don't show up for court, but in his case, since he's on a no-alcohol no-tavern order, any time you break a rule of your bond agreement, that counts as well). He also had a charge of criminal trespass to dwelling slapped on there as well.
I was confused as to what the latter meant, so I googled it, and in this fair state, it means that you let yourself into someone's house without their permission with intent to break the peace. I don't mean to be a pessimist, but after I share this story with you guys, I have a feeling they'll drop that charge against him. He's a stupid lucky bastard and always gets extra charges dropped as it is. This is related to me secondhand, btw.
About a month ago, ex bf was really drunk (surprise!) and walking alone up and down some college kid neighborhoods nearby the university and the bars nearby that. It's never been unusual for him to go out alone, or to not plan a way home.
He doesn't have a cell, so he decided to go up to a house and ask to use their phone. He picked a house that was full of girls, and apparently, spooked one or more of the girls enough to call the cops on him. Yet, one of the girls let him use her phone to call a cab.
A cop must have been nearby, because he got into a cab and was promptly pulled over. At first, the cop did not run a check on him, and let him go.
He must have went back into his car, done a background check, realized he was on a no-drink bond, and he pulled the cab over AGAIN, and this time took ex bf away.
