I answer the phone at work sometimes (small company, no dedicated secretary or receptionist). Now, I'm a licensed mortgage agent, but we also do real estate.
I'm getting tired of:

Caller Hi, is _ still available?
Me Yes
C Can I schedule an appointment?
Me alright, for when?
C Tomorrow 2-3 (example time only)
Me Can I have your name?
C _ (says it really fast, i cant get it)
Me could you spell that please?
C A B C D E F" is my last name and _ is my first name
[usually i don't get the first name because they speak quickly]
Me and which company are you with?
C _
Me and the phone number there?
C 905/416/289/647 _-_

Now, I have an approximate spelling of their last name, pronounciation of their first name and whatever numbers I got from the phone number because they lose saying those as fast as possible.
What happens now? Spend 15 minutes searching their name and company on a government website to check their licensing information to get their name/company/phone.
