I've noticed this, and I've actually thought of telling my bosses... if you ever need to drum up some business, just give me a task to do in the lobby but keep my till open and anyone else with an open till occupied on fries/cookline/whatever. As soon as I try to actually get it done, the whole freaking town will get hungry at once, and most of them will want ice cream/milkshakes/other annoying things.
