    That was about the size of it.

    And it was a very expensive insurance claim. Aluminum and fiberglass body structure that even the dealers didn't know how to repair at the time, combined with basically zero parts availability (as I said, it was one of the first off the boat!) meant a lot of time without the car, and super duper high repair costs. I don't remember if it actually got totaled out or not.

    To say the guy was not happy is something of an understatement. By many many orders of magnitude...

      Experience is measured in equipment ruined. Some klutz got multiple careers worth of experience in one drop!
