  • My problem? It's not my problem!

So today was another fun one, I've been put on phone duty, meaning I don't have to deal with suck face to face.

Customer phones up and says that he got a SMS from our repair centre saying his item was ready to be picked up at the branch.

    Sc: my reference is xxxxxx
Me: Ok I'll bring that up

Sees the item is not in branch yet. Note, we do often have issues with the SMS system so we always tell our customers that we will call them.

Me: ok sir I can see from this it's not yet in branch.
Sc: but I have a text
Me: yes but currently it isn't here bec..
    SC: WHY!
Me: well sir, our deliveries are throughout today and has not been yet, so your item will be here today, just not yet.
Sc: well that's not my problem.

Ok let's analyse the situation here, my tv is working still so no problem there, my colleagues tvs are working so the only problem I can see is with your tv so it is your problem. I can't control the forces of physics in how fast trucks travel the country. Even when you're told we will call you, you still call us...chill out brah, it'll be here...

LOL I love the "Not my problem" responses.

I had someone trying to return an open DVD (once you open the shrink wrap most DVD's aren't returnable, they are exchangeable for the same product.)

Told a customer that the soft porn he bought from my mall store was able to be exchanged for another copy if it didn't work, but he wasn't getting another title, or his money back (we went back and forth a few times over it.)

His response, "That's not my problem."

Me "Ok. Have a nice day then."

"What are you going to do about it?"

"Nothing. You can either exchange it for the same title if it doesn't play or keep it. Your choice."

"I told you that's not my problem."

    "OK. Have a nice day."

"I want to talk to your manager."

"Sure, I'm the manager, what can I do for you today?"

SC gets pissed off and leaves.
