About 4-6 months ago I was told "You better look real busy today; the CEO's coming!"
"Great," I replied, "when he arrives I want to punch him right in his nose! Even getting fired, going to jail and starving to death would be worth it, for what he made us go through the last couple of years with offering the week's specials, and asking stupid questions like "Do you need any help with the bottom of the basket?" and about five more things."
"Um, you mean she."
"... No, it's a he. The guy who signs those newsletters."
"No, that's the President of the company; this is the CEO of the corporation."
Great, what could I do? I don't think I was intimidated by her gender... I was just so focused on doing bodily harm to one particular person that I couldn't transfer the hate so abruptly like that.
Anyway, I ended up being on break when she showed up, so yay for me not going to jail or losing my job!
