A few weeks ago I was turned on to a serial novel called "Worm"; it came highly recommended. I started reading it.
Oh, boy, what a mistake.
No, not that it was bad. Not the best thing I've ever read, but pretty interesting. Basically X-Men except everyone can think straight and the superhumans are largely composed of angsty teens.
No, the problem is that it's long. LONG. As in, a dozen typical novels long. I'm a fast reader and this took me DAYS to get through.
It was close to ending when I read it and the final chapters were recently published.
