Oh GAWD, my personal favorite, the Rules Lawyer.
I wonder whether being a Rules Lawyer is one of the reasons he finds himself in his unfortunate situation. Workplaces, schools, stores, apartment buildings, employment centers, welfare offices, homeless shelters, public buildings, soup kitchens, and Section 8 housing all have unwritten rules that will nonetheless get you turfed if you break them.
Granted, that's a long list of people to piss off before you wind up trying to sleep on a library table, but if "Nobody said I couldn't" is his baseline standard for garden-variety decency, it wouldn't surprise me. Nobody said he couldn't slice his fingers off in a meat grinder, either, but I don't see him queueing for the opportunity.
Corollary: if there were actual written rules proscribing every behavior he tried to get away with on that basis, he'd probably complain about living in a police state.
