    My husband and I met Alton Brown!

    Husband and I went to a cancer benefit luncheon today that hosted a bunch of authors, including Alton Brown! We got some of his books signed by him and got our picture taken with him!

        He certianly is. I met him at a signing of his first book,I'm Just Here for The Food at the Michigan Avenue Borders in '02.

          Wow, that's cool. I watch a lot of Food Network, and have always wondered what the Food Network stars are like. I like how Alton Brown is like the Bill Nye of Food Network.

                He seemed super nice, although we didn't get a chance to talk to him directly very much. The book signing part went very fast, we were near him for about 30 seconds as he signed our books and an attendant took our picture and that was it. He commented on my husband's Megaman shirt, though.
