That is way too cool . . .

A few highlights from my year - 1969:

Oscar for Best Picture: Midnight Cowboy

Oscar for Best Actor: John Wayne for True Grit

Soyuz 4 and Soyuz 5 made the first in space transfer in January 1969 when they docked together and the crew transferred craft via spacewalk

First moonwalk was in July 1969

ARAPNET was created that year, along with the videocassette and digital photography

Top of the pop charts: I Heard It Through The Grapevine by Marvin Gaye

The U. S. Government made the first troop withdrawals from Vietnam that year

There's so much listed I can't possibly remember all of it.

I liked it. Lots of interesting facts.

Though it was kinda writing it out like "YOURE TECHNOLOGY DEPENDANT, THERE WERE NO DVDS OR GOOGLEZ OR YAHOO and PEOPLEZ STILL READ BOOKS" For 1983...etc... Its kinda confusing, as I know this. I lived through it.

Now I'm feeling like I should have been born the same year Sheldonrs was.

                              1988

Rain Man was the biggest movie.

Megaman 2 was the game of the year.

One More Try by George Michael was the #1 song that year, though I know for a fact Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley was #1 song my birth day.
