    It says that although a person is behind the wheel, they only take over if there is an emergency. If this is legit..might cut down on the insanity on the road. What do you think about such a vehicle?

    People already over ride safety systems and will go to great lengths to do so - I'm sure some doofus will manage it!

        Think about the computer controlled car and no traffic lights. The cars, spaced out perfectly, would "mesh" through the intersection at speed. That would be more exciting than any Disney ride.

        However, I know several people who refuse to give up control of their cars.
        Life is too short to not eat popcorn.
