I want to play, but I don't actually have a playlist.

So, I'm going to set my Pandora to Shuffle and list the next 10 songs that it chooses to play (that I would choose to listen to to begin with).
    1. One More Time/Aerodynamic - Daft Punk
    2. Not Over Yet (Perfecto Remix) - Grace
    3. Bizarre Love Triangle - New Order
    4. I'll Tell My Ma - Uisce Beatha
    5. Hongkongaton - Gorillaz
    6. You Spin Me Right Round (Like a Record) - Dead or Alive
    7. The World I Know - Collective Soul
    8. Is It You - Wumpscut
    9. Always On My Mind - Pet Shop Boys
    10. House of Tom Bombadil - Nickel Creek

That's a pretty fair representation of what I end up listening to, depending on my mood. Although, it didn't hit any of the particularly offbeat channels, such as my ambiance channel (a lot of nature sounds more than music) or any of my various "world" channels.

Andara, that's actually what I did, too. I don't have a playlist per se - all my music is on my MP3 Walkman. So I set it to shuffle and it was kind of interesting to see what it picked out.

Really, it's what I do as well... it's just all of the music on my MP3 player randomized. I don't have the patience to make an actual playlist.
"Kamala the Ugandan Giant" 1950-2020 • "Bullet" Bob Armstrong 1939-2020 • "Road Warrior Animal" 1960-2020 • "Zeus" Tiny Lister Jr. 1958-2020 • "Hacksaw" Butch Reed 1954-2021 • "New Jack" Jerome Young 1963-2021 • "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff 1949-2021 • "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton 1958-2021 • Daffney 1975-2021

Except that I don't actually own most of the music I listen to on Pandora. It's not the same as an MP3 playlist. And your entire library is a playlist; it's just not sorted at all.

Well, yeah, but I don't usually hit shuffle before I listen to music. I just pick out songs that I feel like hearing, and tend to obsess over the same songs for a while.

I did organize a few songs on my computer--I have two Samhain playlists, one for winter solstice and one for spring equinox--but I didn't bother putting those lists onto the Walkman as separate playlists. I just throw everything onto the Walkman as soon as I buy it.
