  • Huzzah!

I got into the highly competative nursing program at my university (up to now have been taking pre-nursing courses). I start the program in July. 2-1/2 years from now I'll be graduating with my BSN/RN!

      Way to go 42!

Is 2 1/2 years a shorter program for those with the pre-requisites?

It's 2-1/2 years on top of how ever long it took you to complete all the gen ed requirements and the nursing program's prereq's. In total, the BSN is considered to take a minimum of 5 years to complete. Not taking me quite as long because I had all the gen ed stuff already counted as done from my previous degree (I have a BA in English).
