    We all know customers don't listen

    My CW "Angela" handles church advertising. She's been making a lot of phone calls & leaving a lot of messages for her customers in re: to Christmas and other advertising.

    Today she gets a message to call somebody back, just a name & number.

    She calls, a woman answers with some version of, "yes, I'm [name]." Angela asks what church she's with.

    Customer flips out. "Why are you asking me what church I'm affiliated with? You shouldn't be asking that!" Rant, rant, rant....Angela finally gets to talk, and realizes this was a regular customer who'd talked to her earlier - not someone from a church.

    She explained and explained that she'd thought she was calling a church, but this woman just wouldn't listen. "I think your boss should know you're asking customers what church they go to!!"

    Geeez lady, shut up and listen!! By the end of the day we were laughing about it, but still...
    When you start at zero, everything's progress.
