Anybody have any traditional farewells for their friends/loved ones as they go off to work?

I generally tend to send Rob off with a very cheery reminder to have fun with the zombies and to not forget his machete. Sort of a joke in rating how his work day is going to be, slow shambling zombies, regular zombies or those fast nasty ones ... Sometimes I tell him to remember the spare brains so he has something to throw as a distraction.

It all started as a joke waaaaaay back when his sister was working at one of the body farms

I tell the cat I love her and to not throw any wild parties while I'm gone.

If I'm having a bad day, I'll text my partner about it. They frequently respond, "I'll be here with hugs and a friendly ear when you get home."

When I leave in the morning, it's usually "see you after work." But I do say goodbye to the cats and tell them to be good.

Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

Whenever I cat sit my aunt's cat I always tell her to watch the house while I'm gone. If me and my aunt are going out whenever I'm over her house, we'll tell her dog to watch the cat and the cat to watch the house.
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

I always tell my cat good bye, that I love her, and that her pet sitter will come by soon. Her pet sitter (a friend of mine now) almost always comes around when I'm at work, mostly to watch my elderly cat, but partly because I have cable and a garden, and she has neither. That's why she won't let me pay her - I have cable and she loves to garden (I hate it).
                  And my cat loves her.
