The other day at the end of my audit shift a woman came to the desk to check out. She had the bill I had slid under her door and apparently it was wrong. She swore up and down that she was overcharged for one of the nights - yet there was no proof on the reservation.
She went out to get her computer and showed me a total she had been quoted. While I was in the process of figuring out the discount she tells me the rate should have been 40 dollars cheaper. (this is important - she told me this)
I change the rate and do a credit card adjustment and present her with a new bill and she tells me it is still wrong. (WTF) I tell her that I was only doing what she asked me to do and she scolds me about giving her attitude.
She leaves in a huff because she no longer has the time to stay and fix the error.
So, I do what you ask me to do and I am the one with an attitude?
