The last time we were in a state like this.....was probably 3 or more years ago with boatloads of temps (mostly idiots).
And, we're scraping the bottom of the barrel again.
I've been INvoluntarily semi-permanently moved back to my old department (and I mean, old old, other side of the building old), so I meet up with some of my coworkers outside for a smoke on lunch and keep updated on what they have going on in my actual work area.
My one friend A is a trainer. She told me this today.
One of her newest trainees, she was told by our boss....and she quotes, "We really didn't want to hire him...."
Because I guess this guy spent all of orientation belching loudly, interrupting the people speaking, and just being loud in general.
And of course, that's how he's been ever since they brought him in on the floor.
Probably a good thing I get that damn transfer in two weeks.
