  • What? (Mozilla issue, I think)

For some reason, my computer can/ will not load the website msnbc.msn.com. I can't link to it from msn.com, from google, or from any other link I have found. If I type in the address and hit enter, my browser stays on whatever page I was on. If I click a link, it looks like it will load (hourglass, status bar thingy on the bottom frame makes a bar) and it stays on whatever site I was on.

    Help?

Try clearing your history/cache/cookies, and see if that helps. Failing that, check your hosts file to see if there's something there. And disable any ad-block plugins you have to see if maybe the site was blacklisted.

Also, do those one at a time, so you know which fixes it (if any do) for next time.

sounds odd, but in the rare case your using AT&T Uverse, call tech support, get a tech to do a port swap (god my job follows me even home!)
Crono: sounds like the machine update became a clusterf*ck..
pedersen: No. A clusterf*ck involves at least one pleasurable thing (the orgasm at the end).
