Years ago, my boss said this in response to spam she received: "I didn't even know I needed a penis, much less a bigger one!""I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

I'll have to check my other comp for the screenshot, but i got my all-time favorite spam Subject a few months back...it was simply"Insert subject here". Let's have this dude be in charge of the spammers, he's obviously bad at his job!"For a musician, the SNES sound engine is like using Crayola Crayons. Nobuo Uematsu used Crayola Crayons to paint the Sistine Chapel." - Jeremy Jahns (re: "Dancing Mad")
"The difference between an amateur and a master is that the master has failed way more times." - JoCat
"Thinking is difficult, therefore let the herd pronounce judgment!" ~ Carl Jung
"There's burning bridges, and then there's the lake just to fill it with gasoline." - Wiccy, reddit
"Retail is a cruel master, and could very well be the most educational time of many people's lives, in its own twisted way." - me
"Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down...tell you she's hurtin' 'fore she keens...makes her a home." - Capt. Malcolm Reynolds, "Serenity" (2005)

Most of the ones I've been getting recently have been attempting to disguise themselves as legitimate e-mail from Blizzard about my WoW account. I usually give them a quick glance, spot some obvious tell that it's fake and delete it.
Nice try account thieves. Not. :POutside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. -Groucho Marx

Bleh, my email recently got hacked, and lots of spam went forth with my email name attached. Luckily whoever hacked me 1) has really bad spelling, and 2) Everybody who I know would realize that though not the best at grammar and spelling..even I don't misspell Good. The subject of the pirated emails? "God Day!"Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

Got one at work the other day that raised my eyebrows, but not for the usual reasons.
We have fairly good spam filters. Occasional ones get through to group inboxes, such as cialis spelled with "I"s etc, but this one was different.
"Buy sex drugs online."
I think the lack of alternate spellings threw our spam filter into a fit.

They try so hard, but still come up so short"So, let's build a snowman! We can make him our best friend. We can name him Bob or we can name him Beowulf! We can make him tall, or we can make him not so tall!"

Awww, the spam I get is so thoughtful. Instead of things to build up the size of the penis I don't have, I get emails entitled 'diaper coupons' and 'earn a healthcare degree.'"And so all the night-tide, I lie down by the side of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride!"

Quoth Eisa View PostRead a romance book that called it a "purple-helmeted lance of love."
To be fair, it was romantic humor, and it was supposed to sound awful.
Now I'm going to look at my spam folder and find some amusing spam lines.

Quoth Mytical View PostBleh, my email recently got hacked, and lots of spam went forth with my email name attached.
My work email used to get a lot of bounce notices from spammers who were using that email address. Hell, my gmail goes out saying it's from another of my personal email accounts. You'd never know it came from gmail if you didn't look at the code.

Hmm not sure. I got a notice back from mailer deamon (spelling ugh) for some emails it couldn't get to (so it got bounced back). The subject was 'God Day'..and the message was similar to "Been a long time since we talked. Seen a very good movie here." where here was a hyperlink.Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

Today's subject of hilarity from the ESL crowd?
Save thousands with unnecessary auto repairs
Then there was this rather... iffy offer:
Challenge Mike Myers for the title of Love Guru
Then there's another that says, "Make a connection this Labor Day with eHarmony." I think they're a tad bit late on that one.
