First, meat popsicle keeps making me think of the movie The Fifth Element.

Second, you said six months ago, GK, Feb 25, that you were talking to your supers about what you'd have to edit out so that it would be safe to publish, so you're slacking

Just imagine though, you could have an entire chapter about 867! And one about Skytrain! And the parkade chapter would be awesome!
I've definitely been amassing, yes. Management also doesn't seem to care long as I name no names. -.-

Just wondering what the chances of being published actually are for that kind of book.

eh, do the self-publish thing, go for cheapish options on paper and bindings, and charge a buck over what it costs for printing. Not like this is going to be your grand opus, simply something fun for everyone.

And maybe talk with Kara about getting some of her stories in there too, since she has a similar style to you, and she's your ...evil? not evil? twin. If you needed help editing and sorting, I'm sure there'd be no shortage of volunteers around here.

My suggestion would be to put together a sample chater and send it to publishers who publish something along the same lines.

          Such as:

Hmm....Soho doesn't look very promising, but the other one, Garland, looks like the kind of publisher that might take my trash. ;p

I'd be willing to bet that if Raps allowed you to "advertise" the book here, that you'd sell lots of copies just to us! It'd probably make great xmas presents, too!
Everything will be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end.

I'd suggest getting the Writer's and Artist's Yearbook and looking up agents to sell the book for you. Different agents specialise in different genres. It should also include a list of current publishers in case you want to go it on your own. Some publishers won't look at anything that doesn't come from a recognised agent, and others will let it sit in the slush pile for eons. Everybody and their dog will want to get their novel out there.

I'd be tempted by the agent route. Self-publishing is hard work, and you have enough to do with the morons on your phone lines. The agent may take between ten and fifteen percent, but one hundred percent of nothing is still nothing.
