Today I got a frantic call form one of our, um, special users. Their PC was broken and they were behind. I go up to their work area. (Note: this user has a "shared" work area as they are PT. Basically a long desk with their PC at one on end and another PC at the other end.)

    U: See it's broken!!!!!!!
M: *looks, sees monitor standby light is on, PC is off*
U: It was like this when I came in.
M: Let me see. *presses power button on PC, it begins to boot up* Looks good to me. Why don't you try it.
U: Ok. *user logs in, everything works as expected*
M: So what was the issue? Did is not boot when you tried it this morning?
    U: I never tried it.
    M: why?
U: *points to mouse pad and keyboard* When I worked last (two days ago) they were about 8-10" farther to the left.
M: Ok. So why did you think it didn't work.
U: Because the keyboard a mouse was moved, so them someone tried to break my PC.
M: Ok. First, it is not your PC. It is owned and managed by <organization>. Secondly, this is a shared work area, you were gone for two days prior, If someone else needed the desk to spared out their work and you were gone, they may have moved your keyboard and mouse a little bit.
    U: Are you sure?
    M: yes.
U: So no one tried to break my PC.
M: Their is no evidence of it. If you have a issue with this I suggest you contact the CWs in thsi area. Ok.
U: Fiiiiiiiiiiiinee *followed by a huge sigh*
    M: No more issues?
    U: no.
    M: ok.

Why do i have the feeling this is not the end of this issue?
