wow, f**k these parents in the f**king neck.

This infuriates me. For one, why would you subject your kids to that kind of atmosphere? It sounded like the cantina in Mos Eisley! (Which would be awesome for ADULTS ) Its YOUR fault for bringing them there, not the bar's fault for being. . . A BAR!!

Seriously parents of the year, either you are both raging, stupid assnuggets, or you have NEVER been to a bar in your life and therefore did not know what to expect, I am going for the former.

Letting your kid CRAWL around on the floor. . .by the bar. . . where alot of people are standing. . . and glass just broke. . . GAH MY BRAIN!!!

Really? Management should have kicked out all those mean, inconsiderate people? ruining what you hope would be a nice, quiet, family meal?????? ITS A BAR!!! FUCK!!! I AM SURPRISED YOU TWO EVEN FIGURED OUT THE BIRDS AND THE BEEDS SO YOU COULD EVEN CREATE THESE CHILDREN!! I HATE SHITTY PARENTS!!!

whew. . . sorry. Neighbors recently had their kids taken from them by CYS (badly needed to happen, trust me) so this issue is a bit close to the heart right now. I am better now, I swear

Mos Eisley is a bit upper class compared to my pub. My pub has more weird looking people.

Next thing ya know, someone will be whining that they were asked to leave a strip club because they wouldn't take their baby out of it's little front of your shirt carrier for the lapdance.

you're the one who sat her on the counter where people normally set beer and food.
At one fast food restuarant, a mother put a small towel on the table and procedded to change her kids diaper :vomit:

The LW brought their kids to an R-rated movie and proceeded to harass the adults for DARING to swear in front of kids, only to find themselves kicked out for being a nuisance.
I actually had something like that happen back in my college days. A group of us went to see a movie one night during the week, and while we were waiting for it to start, we were talking among ourselves, maybe a little too loudly, but they hadn't even lowered the lights yet, let alone start the movie.

Some guy yelled at us for saying "That word" when "there could be kids around." I don't even remember if there were any kids around, but it was 10 pm on a weeknight, and it was a R-rated movie. We settled down, but when the first F-bomb was dropped by one of the movie actors, one of the more obnoxious people in our group yelled out, "Uh-oh! He said 'Fuck!'" I don't think the guy liked it very much, but a few of the other people in the theater who had witnessed the exchange earlier chuckled.

I went to see the new Friday the 13th back in '09. Some lady brought her baby in. Got kicked out before the movie started. I was like "WTF?"

When we were checking on our (then under construction) house in '01, we stopped by to catch Hannibal. There were people bringing toddlers to that one!

Makes me wonder about some parents.
I let my older nephew watch part of "Silence of the lambs" when he was a couple of years old.

But in my defense I was already watching it when he came in, and had asked sis "Is that OK? " ... she said "sure" not realizing what I was watching.

                        Me: um ok....

a few minutes later sis realized what was on... yeah, no SOTL for little toddler.

I . . . I . . . I . . . I don't understand. If you don't want your kids around a bunch of drunks and loud hooligans who wish to discard their common sense, why would you ever go somewhere that serves liquor so liberally? Wouldn't a child-appealing restaraunt, or fast food, be far more appropriate? If you don't want to deal with loud drunks, don't take your kids somewhere that alcohol is served. You take your kids somewhere like that, and you're surprised at what happens? I don't get it at all.

That is almost as bad a one "father" who took his 7 year old son to see a MIDNIGHT showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show complete with full shadow cast performing, a full audience with FULL knowledge of all of the callback lines (and most are NOT G or PG), and people dressed out in various Rocky and non Rocky costumes (some are VERY R rated).

this man then writes a VERY nasty letter to the local BIG city newspaper complaining about everything and I think demanding that the show be shut down.

The cast used to have a copy of the letter on their website.

A customer accidentally drops and smashes their glass just near to where little Billy was crawling around. Because it’s appropriate to have a two year old crawling around the bar area on a Saturday night.

This is why the local Medical Laboratory collection center has a sign up "All children MUST be restrained by an adult in the collection rooms. Do NOT let children touch bench tops."

And yeah, the last time I went to the movies it was to see "Kill Bill". Part 1 was about the bloodiest, action filled movie I could imagine and one mother (sitting near me) brought her 6 or 7 year old daughter. I don't know how she got through the door as here it is a "R" rated movie meaning 18+ only.

The kid sat next to me, kicking her legs and singing to herself the whole movie, and didn't really look up at the screen, even when Gogo Yubari gets some nails through the foot and screams like a banshee, the kid was still sitting there looking down.

I have not been to the movies since. I can't stand parents doing that sort of thing to their kids.
in the USA at least "R" only requires a parent to be there, and it is 17+ otherwise. NC-17 is the only one that is truly restricted.

R — Restricted. Children Under 17 Require Accompanying Parent or Adult Guardian.
