  • filing divorce papers with your lover

This couple were nice. They came in needing to get divorce forms. I show them Gale legal forms. I thought they were getting divorced, and they seemed nice to each other, so I figured it was an amicable divorce.

Then the woman, who was filling out the forms, asked the guy, "how do you spell your wife's name?"

Ah, I see, they are not married to each other.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

Maybe it's just me that the whole thing seems a tad tacky. Oh well.

I used those with my first divorce-sadly the clerk at the office supply store was on auto-pilot...after our purchase(It was at the time amicable-became less so a few days later)clerk hands me my bag and says.....

      Have a great day!
Honestly.... the image of that in my head made me go "AWESOME!"..... and then I remembered I am terribly strange.-Red dazes

i dunno...when The Boy was talking to his lawyer about his divorce, i went with him. granted it was to stay in the lobby and watch The Child, but still...i guess depending on the terms of divorce.

i'm just reminded of a guy i once had a crush on. at the time i didn't know if he was married (turned out he wasn't) but one of the guys in the building i worked told me "Just break them up and take him."

what shocked me most was that... he was serious.

My mother-in-law, the divorce attorney, told me she gets most of her work from repeat clients.

That'll be good practice for when he dumps her, later, for the next new tart.

Although, it could be more like the case with me and my ex. We'd broken up years earlier, but had never gotten around to the actual divorce. He finally got everything rolling when he decided he wanted to marry his then-girlfriend.

If they come back, ask HIM if he'd like to set up an account so the next time will be easier and faster.
