  • An angry mother...

    I just found out today that the Gymboree behind me is closing down to make way for a Janey and Jack store (think of it like...the Banna Republic for the Gap). Well, to my amazement, one of the workers said they've had signs posted since Saturday (my last day was friday) that today they'd be closing the store to box everything up and put it in storage till the new store opens upstairs. Well, to make a long story short, I'm sitting here reading my favorite morning past time and all of a sudden I hear:

    SC: Why the F*** is this mother****in' place closed?!?!?!

    It was so loud I actually jumped. I looked over and there's this lady with her younger daughter and she's pounding on the window trying to get them to open the store. She's screaming at the top of her lungs "You MFers need to open this s*** right up now and let me in". Nevermind the fact that the place is half taken down and there's boxes littered throughout the store. Now, the store's SM (a not so nice lady) sends on of the Managers that's helping close the place to the door to deal with this lady. I just hang outside and watch the fireworks and keep my phone ready to call mall security in case it gets bad. Well, basically the manager tells her how the store's closing to make way for the other store and that the closest store is at Stone's Town (about 30 min away driving, 15 or so by BART). The mother's not having it. She's got something to return and they're gonna make sure they return and this and that and that the store's employees are just a bunch of mothers for not letting her do an exchange.

    I was very pleased with how the manager handled it. She basically told her that there's no way she can do the return and that she's sorry but everything's packed. She then told her if she doesn't calm down she's gonna close the door on her and continue with her work. At that point I looked at her and called upstairs cause I knew what would happen next. The manager closed the door in her face, then the mother began cursing more and pounding on the door. I just sat back, got some popcorn and watched the mall security come and escort her out of the mall. At least this made for some good morning entertainment =3

    <snort>

    It kind of makes you wonder what her daughter's first words were, eh?

    Of course, though ... Didn't the store Manager not realize that customers have absolutely no ability to read signs what-so-ever? <groans painfully>

    Some people are just morons....

    Do they not understand that returns and exchanges are not a legal right but only a courtesy offered by the store?

    No doubt she ended up calling that poor, poor receptionist at Corp Office and gave her a mouthful of nasty words <that's me, people>....and then the genius Operations manager makes sure an official apology and a gift certificate is issued because of the "inconvenience" to the customer.....

    Sigh....

      Yep, some people should never breed really. I can't believe anyone would use that kind of language around a child and thinks it's okay.

          What a disgusting person, and what a foul example to set around her kid. I feel massively sorry for the child, frankly, because she's going to learn repulsive behaviour off her scummy mother, and probably grow up into another scumbag like her, unless someone in her life becomes a decent influence and gives her a chance.

            "Futhermucker"

            "Dear, what did the baby just say?"
            Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

            I'm a case study.
