But my Mom and Aunt smiled, gave me hugs and exclaimed how PRETTY the rings are, and how LOVELY the perfumes smelt, and OOOOH chocolate!
    Realising the above has saved me many scratchings of the head when buying presents. It's not quite a case of anything will do, but I just don't worry about whether anything is right or not for my parents

      My goddaughter is only two, so she hasn't really started giving presents yet, but I know that if she even gave me a napkin she'd scribbled on, that napkin would be framed and sitting on my bookshelf in 2 seconds.
      I know! I keep so much stuff, I actually have to steel myself to not keep EVERYTHING.
