We have 2 ethanol tanks. One ran out, so the pumps that feed from that one had out of order signs on them.
SC pulls up at one of the "out of order" ethanol pumps, does a double take (at least he saw the sign, unlike numerous other idiots that day), then fills up with regular unleaded.
On paying:
SC: That's a dirty trick, advertising the cheap stuff then putting up out of order signs.
Me: Actually one of our ethanol tanks is empty, there is plenty in the other tanks that feed pumps 1,2,5 and 6.
SC: You suck.
I'm not the one that's too stupid to look 4 feet to my left for a functioning pump that dispenses the product I want, or accuse people of dirty tricks when there's a perfectly reasonable explanation.
