Does the recent trend requiring the bump have to do with the "Punish the SC" game? If so, are "natural" consequences OK, while those involving human intervention are not OK? For example:
Crime: SC tosses the remainder of his drink on the sidewalk. It's winter, so this creates a patch of ice.
Punishment #1: A few minutes later, SC slips and falls on a patch of ice created by someone else tossing their drink on the sidewalk, and breaks his leg.
Punishment #2: Tiny the Hell's Angel, whose grandmother broke her hip after slipping on a patch of ice, sees the incident and beats up the SC
In #1, even though the SC is injured, from my viewpoint he's being bitch-slapped by karma. #2 is definitely a case of human intervention.
