Okay, it's off season and our peaches are imported anyway. So their very expensive this time of year. Our necterines on the other hand are almost always dirt cheap. All our produce comes with a sticker with the plu on it. So the SC comes up with a bag of PEACHES. Big bag. He insists that despite the sticker, despite the fuzziness, despite the produce guy telling him... That they were really necterines. We had to point out the sign on the stand and he still insisted it was necterines. Normally I wouldn't care but we are talking almost 15$ difference in price. I passed SC off to a manager because even the supervisor got sick of his stupidity. sorry Mr. SC but'the customer is always right' doesn't work that way.

Personally, I like nectarines a little more anyway. They taste pretty much the same as peaches, and I prefer the smooth skin."Crazy may always be open for business, but on the full moon, it has buy one get one free specials." - WishfulSpirit

Quoth Irving Patrick Freleigh View PostPeaches come in a can. They were put there by a man in a factory downtown.“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers
