      Indeed. there is an interesting story about the birds used in Hitchcock's classic. They trained only some of the birds knowing the other birds would follow their lead. They trained them by have people run, then stop and hold out the hands full of bird seed. This trained the birds to chase people in order to get the bird seed. If you've seen the movie, you this worked very well.

      After the filming was done, the birds were released to the skies. The local populace had some interesting bird related experiences until the birds forgot their training.
