We have a member at our community center that's a bit on the annoying side, makes tired jokes that he thinks are hilarious that type of stuff. We're currently offering a body fat assesment thing in the next couple months and have signs posted about it. He reads one of the signs and looks at me and says "body fat assesment? I've got some body fat you can have if you want." First of all, he's NOT overweight, not in the slightest, he looks pretty good for someone in his upper 40s. Second thing, I AM overweight, by about 50 pounds, trust me it's noticable and I'm pretty sensitive about it. I manage to stutter out a "no thanks" and fume about him the rest of the night. I honestly don't think he was trying to be an ass, but he did end up being incredibly insensitive.
