'At-Will' employment is foreign concept in Canada. Once an employee is past the probationary period (normally 3 months) the employer must go through the disciplinary process - oral / written warnings. Unless of course infractions include theft, fraud, sexual harassment and the like.

You can buy sobe. You could buy monster, but not rockstar. You could buy Viso, but not Red Bull. You could buy Venom, but not Monster Coffee. (Which is strange, since you could buy the monster energy version, but not the ice cold energy coffee monster).

So yeah. Big confusing mess. Didn't help matters that it seemed to switch around month to month.
Yeah, ours are different. We can probably blame the state governments for it, though.

That he didn't 'buy'. Sounds like the customer ordered the food, and is hoping if he argues long enough, they'll give it to him for free since now the prepared nachos will be thrown out. If not, he's still taking the condiments!!
Make a list of important things to do today.
At the top of your list, put 'eat chocolate'
Now, you'll get at least one thing done today

not quite. unlike some places 7-11 rarely, if ever, actually makes the food on the spot. they are off to the side already prepared. it's really just normal nachos under a heat lamp. but because it is heated it is considered prepared. My GF worked for a company with graphic design that catered to people with food stamps, helping folks to get them when they need them, and "hot food" is a no no. atleast here in philly.

But yea... he could have gotten a bag of nachos, but unfortunatly he wouldn't get the condiments because those are only for the prepared heated nachos.

Sad thing is, if he had gotten a small bag of chips, he could have just put them on a paper plate, throw it in the microwave, then add all the nacho cheese and condiments he wanted, and it would have been cheaper then the nachos themselves.
