So just a quick background: I am a Security Specialist(Note: not a guard) at Corporate World Headquarters for a company. I train receptionists and other new people, supervise the guard and assist in multiple ways anyway I canWhen I transfered here my co workers and I found ourselves at the mercy of everyone. VPs, Managers, Admins, and over all snobby people. Granted, some are WAY cool but alot think they are immune to rules and will rip into you any chance they get

So the company consists of four buildings at the time ina much larger complex consisting of: a hotel, two high rise sky scrapers, and 4 condos. Our buildings were labled "A, B, C, and D" with A being the ALL STAR main one where the CEO works,etc. Now for a while the place where Access Badges are made and issued was in building A. Then the powers that be informed the Badging Specialist they were going to move her office to Building D across campus. So for a month in advance she had a sign on the door for all to see explaining what was going to happen and when she would be gone and where she could be located,etc.
The move occurs and the sign is still up WEEKS later before "Facilities Department" takes it down.
Now here is where the fun begins....
Months later I am in Building A covering the world Headquarters Desk while the primary Receptionist takes her 30-minute lunch. Everything was quiet, til from the suite doors leading to where the badging office a female employee in her early 50s comes stomping towards my desk with a lady in her early 30s in tow wearing a visitors pass(non employee).
Me = Agent Alex
SCL = Sucky Customer Lady
NE = New Employee?
Me: *all polite* Hello. How can I assist you ma'am?
SCL: *FREAKIN' PISSED* EXCUSE ME: WHEN IS THE BADGING SPECIALIST IN HER OFFICE!?
Me: The badging office is open from 8 AM til 4 PM so she should be in there unless she ran to the restroom or some-*is cut off*
SCL: I HAVE BEEN AT THE BADGING OFFICE *points back towards the door* KNOCKING ON IT AND WAITING FOR 20 MINUTES!
Me: Um...Miss.....the Badging Office is now in Building D. They moved months ago. There was a sign on there a month before hand, and a month afterwards before they took it down.....if you need assistance her extention is the same and I have it for you if you would like, or the badging office is behind the Building D Reception Desk.
SCL spaced out for a second it seemed, as if a light flicked on her head that said "Yeah you're a dumbass". Meanwhile the new employee gave sort of a sigh.
SCL: *all solemn and aplogetic* Oh...um....it...it is? Wow...umm...I didn't know....
Me: *all polite and smiling*It's cool ma'am. If you need anything else, do let us know (which was my way of saying "Now get away from my desk). Have a nice day ma'am
She walked away without another word, new employee in tow.
Status: OWNED.
