  • Drunks, yay...

This is by far the most aggravating person I've had at the casino so far, not the worst customer I've ever had, but good god he couldn't have been more annoying.

I can't even completely describe the type of annoying he was, it was obnoxious, but not so much that we had a reason to kick him out right away. First off, he was drunk, I don't know how he got in being that drunk, but he was there. Secondly, he stunk, so badly that the players at the table were complaining to the pit bosses about it when he left the table for a bit. He also had almost no attention span, every hand I had to tell him to pick up his winnings, or ask him if he was in the hand.

To top it all off he did something that made me have to hold in my laughter, he did the *cough[name]cough* thing, though I couldn't quite tell what he said, I could tell he had said something. Normally if someone calls me a name I'm angry, but I was just in a "WTF are you in highschool?" frame of mind, and had to shake my head at that.

Also, I dealt to him the night before, he was exactly the same. He was calling a guy sitting at the table Elton John, because apparently he looked like him, I didn't think so, but the drunk guy did. He was bugging the guy to sing, and then singing very loudly. He also tried to put bets on the side bet after the hand was delt, and then argued with me when I pushed it out, I was very firm when I informed him that no, he had not put that bet on before I said "no more bets" or before the cards were out, I made sure my pit boss knew this too, because he bitched to him too.

He also tried to stick his whole stack of chips on top of a winning bet, then tried to say he was joking. I was very annoyed with him and the pit boss because they were acting like it wasn't a big deal, when they've told me I absolutly need to call them when something like that happens. The boss said something like "so do you want me to scold him?", made me feel like an idiot for calling him...

Good news of it was that drunk guy apparently isn't coming back for a long while, I don't know how long, but I'm assuming he was banned for a length of time. I don't know what they finally decided was ban worthy, but I'm glad they found something. Not that he will be the last person like that I see of course.

Maybe he pissed of a important high roller.

But yea last time Mom and I went to pay the penny slots there was a woman there talking in a cell phone and describing everyone in most unfashionable ways. When she did it to this very Sean Connery looking guy he raised an eyebrow and turned to the smartly dressed lady next to him and said...something. Don't know what cause it was in another language. Lady popped onto a walkie talkie and then miss talk about everyone was being escorted out of the casino and mr sexy in a tux was being led to a curtained off area.

And I mean Sean Connery from his Bond days.

Too bad you don't work in Vegas. That type crap would get him bounced out on his head, banned, without being cashed out.

Maybe he was homeless, and trying to get back on his feet by gambling the rewards of his street begging?

He seems to fit the bill. I'd have been annoyed with him, too.

As far as your pit boss thing goes, welcome to retail. The management always tells you to call them to handle obnoxious undesirables, and then when you do, they try their hardest to shatter policy for the patron, leaving you as the scapegoat asshole.

Hopefully you get at least one with a spine who can help you out sometimes, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Could have been, he didn't look particularly scruffy or anything, he just smelled. He kept mentioning going home too, but I mean home could mean anything.

Well, usually this boss is alright, I actually like him, but I don't know maybe he was having an off night, maybe they were trying to find something on the guy. It sucked, but meh.

We have a couple bosses that I really love, because they're part pit boss part dealer, so they actually have to deal with what the dealers do every so often.
