  • What do you have "too much of"?

What would you say, or others say (or have said) that you have too much of; why do you have all that, and why is it a good thing? Or maybe a bad thing?
Guess this could be a game of sorts, but more legit asking.
I have "too many dice." I have at least forty ten-sided dice, and I don't know where my d4s, d6s, d8s, d12s, or d20s have gotten off to in the move... at least I have enough for Exalted on Wednesday.
I love buying pretty dice, mostly from Chessex and open bins. I am the envy of my gaming group-- they all have speckled or uglier/not-as-pretty dice.

My mom says I have too many books. I say there's no such thing.

I have too many clothes I don't wear, too. I'm gonna go through them and donate some. One of these days...

Some people might say we have too many books as well. When we moved Husband made a rough estimate of 1,800. We have acquired more since then.

I am just hoarding so we can hide them and save them someday when the firemen come.

Too many DVDs, which is possibly a bad thing as it causes the next thing I have too much of

          Too much fat.

I suppose it could be said that I, too, have too many books. I'm not sure, though, if the problem is the amount of books I have or just a lack of a bookshelf to put them on so they're all in one place instead of being in various places all over the house.

I do know that I have too many pairs of pants. And other various clothing items that I don't wear. The problem with the pants is that they're petite mediums and petite larges. Petite anything, when it's pants, never works for me. The legs are the right length, but they always feel too tight at the waist. Planning on emptying my closet of all the petite sized pants, all the shirts I know I'm never in a million years going to fit into again no matter how much weight I lose and giving it all to the Salvation Army.

Anyone who said I had too many t-shirts would not get an argument from me. After all, I told my mother that I could almost definitely wear a different t-shirt every day for a year....and I told her that over 20 years ago!

Some people would say I have too many goofy hats, but I LIKE my goofy hats. And I wear them when I go bar-hopping, or for other appropriate occasions, such as picnics, cookoffs, bar mitzvahs, weddings, funerals, campaign speeches, graduations, and Academy Awards acceptance speeches.

I probably have too many books, as my living room is a library rather than an entertainment center, and is why I got myself a Kindle earlier this year.

Some would say I have too many craft beers in my fridge, but they would meet strong resistance from me on that one. After all, I still have room for for food, as do my roommates!

It could be said that I have too much ASU/Oakland Raiders gear. To those who say that, I ignore, as I can't hear them over the tv's in the sports bar during football season. GO DEVILS! GO RAIDERS!

Some women might argue that I have too much porn. I would counter that I have too few women.

I definitely have too much shit on my DVR. When you average 90% full, and only about 15% is stuff you want to keep, then you clearly need to either watch the damn shit or delete it. And yet....I'm still at about 90%.

One thing I do not have too much of is money. And to my fellow sports fans who say that So and So Pro Athlete "deserves" every penny of his $50 million contract, I say "FUCK YOU!" NO ONE who doesn't cure a life-threatening disease EVER deserves $50 million, period. You cured cancer? Great. Here's fifty mill. And my the gods bless you for all eternity. You throw or chase a ball as part of a game? Fuck you. And if you are a pro athlete and have the nerve to say a $40 million contract offer "disrespects" you, a DOUBLE fuck you to you....shut up and be happy with a salary of less than a third world country's Gross Domestic Product. And I'm a sports fan!

(The above item is not here to provoke debate, just a rant I had to get out. If you don't agree with it and feel you just have to say something about it , say it in fratching. I am just venting here. As apparently something else I have too much of is opinions.)

My mom thinks I have too much beer during football season, and that I spend too much on it, but nowadays I drink it economically: by the pitcher.

I have to go with the popular answer here and say books. I got a Kindle but that didnt stop me from buying. And now that Borders is going out of business....well, the collection has grown.

Target has cute little ankle socks for a buck.

I've heard that too on the books . . . I could start a bookstore.

And yes, I seem to accumulate clothes . . . have 6 bags in the trunk of the car that we're taking this coming week to Goodwill to donate. And I'm not through cleaning out yet.

                          Stuff in general.

                          More specifically:
                          -books
                          -papers to keep
                          -papers to shred
                          -clothes I won't ever wear
                          -unfinished projects (craft type/music type)
-music stuff (heaviest stuff I have other than my bed)
-anxiety (I gotta get to the doctor, I'm getting horrible anxiety attacks)
                          -depression

I just moved.. so this was painfully obvious. (Literally. I'm still recovering and this was yesterday.) ARGH. Must...get rid..of..junk.

I have so. many. socks. And it's all Target's fault. Those $1 socks are even harder to stay away from when they go on sale! *whimper* Most of them are Easter themed for this very reason.

I'm a little depressed that I can't go to the Border's carcass and feed... For the best, probably. I can't wait to have a job.

Okay I would have to say fabric. I easily have a year's worth of work stored in my fabric room. I also have too much stress. But playing with fabric helps with that.

                              I don't have enough books.
                              Also time.
