  • New Twist on the Infamous Phrase

    I had a customer with a problem with his Video on Demand, well it turned out he needed a Technician to come out. I advised him that we now charge for the Techs to go out if its determine to be on the end of the customer thats causing the problem(ie. his equipment etc). He gave me his obvious hatred for that policy then let go with this gem.

    "In my opinion the customer is never at fault ever"


    Well I would have responded to that with what I WANTED to say but I like my job. >_>

        So according to his fabled wisdom, if I buy, say a computer and then

        Pour full fat coke over the keyboard and case
        Pass the tower through an MRI machine (both switched on)
        Then thow it against a wall,
        the company suppling the unit should have sealed the unit, magnetically shielded it and made it shock proof because its not my fault?

            It is my opinion that customers who beleive they are always right, are alomost always lying scam artists.

                    Yep. Everyone has one.

                    Just remember: The customer may not always be right, but they are always the customer.

                    And nothing will change that fact until we have self-serve retail, which I'm not expecting in my lifetime.

                        You have your opinion despite how deluded it is but customers can and will be at fault. Customers are human to, so you WILL make mistakes and they will be your fault.
