Somewhere, surely. Probably easily found and printed in big letters. Jackass.
I don't think we have anything that states how much time you get a day (there is a term of use page, which I don't think it says how much time. It might, I havn't read it at all. Oh, and the tou page appears when people log in).

But people log in twice, spend their 2 hours a day, and when they log in a third time the computer gives a message that they use up their time for the day. So the wankers go get a computer use only card and get on for another 2 hours.

The grand re-opening provided 60 "internet only" computers. There are about 20 research computers. So so far I havn't noticed people waiting for the "internet only" computers. Though then "internet only" computers can be used for research and the catalog, just that there are other computers you can use for those two things without the crowd.

And this will make me sound elitist, but why do all these young people come in and spend all day using the computers for watching youtube and IMing people? Shouldn't they get a job, or at least go to counciling or attend a workshop people provide for the homeless to get some skills?
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

You have to sign up for a card to use our computers, though there are 2 cards, one is where you have to give your information, and verify it with an id and some other things if your id isn't current, and with that you can get books. The other is the computer use only card. We just require you to give us your name and you don't need to show any proof of who you are. I don't know if IT looks at email (I imagine not) though I guess they can. I don't. I just see if someone's email is up or if they are playing games.
Then you probably have a Terms and Conditions or something stating what is or might be monitored, don't you ? Again, I'm not a lawyer, but I've been looking closely at regulations about privacy and computer use around here and it probably differs from whatever regulations you have in your state and / or country, but I'd be very surprised if the US of A didn't consider privacy as a fundamental right, even when using a public facility.

In France, if you are going to monitor anything on a computer network, you have to warn the user and make sure they acknowledge the warning. If you don't, while you can still get them kicked out if you catch them doing something not allowed by the house rules, they might get back at you for violating their privacy.

It almost gets annoying to have to sign disclaimers and releases for any place that lets you use their own computers, but I guess it's the price to pay for knowing exactly what level of privacy you can expect.
