  • Simon's cat (in the box?)

Simon's cat - a video about Simon and his cat (and it's very accurate)

Very true. The cat we had we bought all sorts of toys for. His favorite? A paper storage box he commandeered so we put a blanket in. And if you could not find him, heaven help you if you stuck your hands in the handles to move it.

I don't bother following his page because they always get posted on Cute Overload.

              I'm bringing disdain back...with a vengeance.

Oh, and your tool box called...you got out again.

This video caused my brain to dredge up a memory from my childhood...

I was 13 and had a cat named Ashes. A friend of mine also had a cat, and he built a "cat house" for his cat out of cardboard. Basically, it was a cardboard box with a sliding door, plus a couple of holes; one was only big enough for the cat to stick his paw through, and one was just big enough for the cat to squeeze his whole body through. There was also a tether-ball attached to the roof, consisting of a wire, some string, and a crumpled up paper ball. Finally, there was a really cool drawing of Satan on the sliding door.

I thought it was so cool that I asked him to make one for my cat, and he did. I don't know how long it took him to make it; all I know is that it took less than a week for Ashes to completely destroy it.
