Maybe news, but I got called in for an interview tomarrow. It's a job in data entry??? It pays $11 an hour and has a real set in stone schedule. It sounds nice. Wish me luck?
      Good Luck!

Good luck, Kisa! I do data entry, and while it definitely has its downsides, my favorite part is the complete lack of SC's.

Good luck Kisa, and I hope you hear back soon about the job!

Sorry to hear about your manager quitting, it's always hard when a good manager goes. That DM sounds like a real douchebag.

So glad to hear the interview went well. As much as your stories make me laugh, it can't be good to live through. And with the loss of your good manager no one could expect you to stay.

Sending prayers and good wishes that you get that job, or at least a better one than you have now.

I agree with Lyse; while SCs make entertaining stories, no amount of good storytelling is worth the toll on your mental health and blood pressure.

Good luck on the new job!

Definitely drop Corporate a nice, calm little note and have the other disaffected CW's do the same (yes, really -- if youse guys come across as ranty, you will be ignored out of hand) and explain that it is the DM who essentially caused the store to lose the boss and half the staff.

And, if y'all haven't already, call up the boss who just quit and give him y'all's support -- he knows he really had little choice, and (imho) he made the right decision, but he probably needs to hear it from other people who were there. That and make him aware that you all quit/are quitting because of the DM, NOT because of BossMan.
