Reminds me of the time I was at a little coffee shop with some of my friends on a Friday night. My friend was using his laptop to do some music mixing and had to get up and use the restroom. No sooner than he was up for a couple minutes this teenie bopper walked over and started using HIS laptop. I had to remind TB that it was someone's laptop. She had this "oh! I didn't know" expression and walked away. I then suggested to my friend that he put on a password on his laptop and lock it every time he walks away.

Bullshit she didn't know! Does she think laptops spring up out of nowhere? What a dumbass.

It'd be nice if computers were ubiquitous. Unfortunately, they cost money. You don't just find them, and you also don't pester someone because it's "your turn". Go get your own.

Mine thinks it's a cat.

You my dear friend need to be punished for this

And personally I would never leave my laptop unattended in the first place. If I didn't have it in my hands a trusted friend would be watching it closely.

If someone attempted to use my laptop without my permission I would break all their fingers one by one.
You're a saint compared to me.

To be honest I can honestly say this wouldn't happen to me. well not the asking part but... the hands-on part? Can't happen.

Why? Cos I'm such a paranoid freak about my shit getting stolen that, even if it's to make a head call, I do NOT leave my computer unattended. If there's not someone around whom I trust to watch it for me, I close it up and take it with me.

And even then, it's password protected - with capital letters, small letters, numbers & symbols. even at home. even when i lived alone. i'm just too use to having a password on that i don't bother stopping the behavior.
