Pornstar Amber Lynn leased an internet payment gateway & credit card machine from my previous job. More than once she tried to pay her lease payments with 8X10's and other, uh, merchandise. More than once she was denied.

The closest I get is in the first year of high school I had the same Geography teacher as "That young upstart [David] Bellamy".

I don't think that I have ever dealt with a SC celebrity. Usually, the truly famous are quite nice and the ones grasping at strands of fame are the asses.

I actually did go to high school with actor/comedian Jay Mohr in my second high school (I went to three), but I don't remember him at all. Hey, I was only there for a year! Apparently, though, my sister remembers him and hung out with him. Back then he was known as J.J. That is not just my sister's recollection....I have since then met others who were there and they recall the same thing.

When I worked for the box office at one of the casinos in Vegas, Jay Mohr used to perform there quite often. He'd come into the office and hang out with the staff sometimes. Very nice guy.

And I'm extremely jealous of anyone who's met Jimmy Buffett.
