    I dont' know which is more disturbing...

    That I found my Hamster dead... (he was over 2 YO)

    Or that the other Hamster built his bed over the corpse. Then again, this death could fall under suspicious...Maybe I have to change the live one's name to Jeffery Dahmer...And put a lock on the cage.

    How weird. Maybe it's instinct? I don't know anything about hamsters.

      At least he didn't die like one of ours when I was a kid... Down a heater vent, mid winter.

        When I was little, about fourish, I had two hamsters. One day one of them was gone and I was informed that it had died.

        Eight or nine years later I found out that my parents had discovered one hamster eating the other hamster. Understandably, they hadn't told me at the time; they just didn't realize they hadn't told me in the intervening years. It was a bit of a surprise.

        Pretty sure that surviving hamster was the one that bit me on the finger, too...
